Scherer&Zimmer

Founded by Heinrich and Felix Scherer, this biodynamic winery is based in Bad Krozingen in the Markgräflerland region of southern Baden. The estate works its vineyards on clay, loam, loess, and marl soils, producing wines that reflect the local terroir. The range includes Gutedel, Grauburgunder, Spätburgunder, and a cuvée called TON|STEINE|MERGEL. They also make a traditional-method sparkling wine, Blanc de Noir brut nature, aged 56 months on the lees. The winery is certified organic and sells directly through its online shop.
