Zwiefalter Klosterbräu

Brewing since 1521, this family-owned brewery in Zwiefalten, at the foot of the Swabian Alb, has been in the Baader family since 1897. It produces a range of beers including the flagship 1521 Helles, the Engele line, an Export-style Spezial, a Bioland-certified organic beer, wheat beers, and mixed beer drinks. The brewery uses regional barley from the Alb, Tettnang hops, and water from the monastery well. Its products are available in bottles, cans, and kegs for both retail and gastronomy.
