Zaißerei

In Stuttgart-Münster, between the Neckar riverbank and sun-drenched slopes, the Zaißerei winery has been run by the Zaiß family for five generations. Andreas Zaiß, a trained wine technician, took over and blends traditional Württemberg winemaking with ideas picked up during trips to Australia and California. The vineyards, including the well-known Cannstatter Zuckerle, are worked entirely by hand. The estate also operates a Festkelter (festival cellar) and appears on the Stuttgart Weindorf with two wine taverns, "Zur Zaißerei" and "Vis-à-vis". Wine tastings are held at the winery itself.
