Weingut Salwey

Founded by Konrad and Stephanie Salwey, this family winery in Oberrotweil at the foot of the Kaiserstuhl volcano has been a driving force behind a new style of dry Burgundy wines. The volcanic soils, rich in minerals, give the wines inner warmth without excessive ripeness or alcohol. The estate focuses exclusively on Burgundy varieties, with its top crus coming from the Henkenberg, Steingrubenberg, Eichberg and Kirchberg sites. Visitors can taste and buy wines at the Probierstube on Hauptstraße or by appointment.
