Weingut Mößner-Burtsche

Founded in 2009 when Eva Burtsche (née Mößner) and Tobias Burtsche took over the family vineyard from Eva's parents, the estate cultivates 2.5 hectares of vines in Köndringen, between the Black Forest and Kaiserstuhl. The soils are mainly weathered shell limestone, loess and clay, ideal for Burgundy varieties. The winery works naturally, avoiding herbicides and using green cover crops to promote soil life. Grapes are gently pressed, settled overnight, and fermented with controlled temperatures to preserve primary aromas. Wines are aged on fine lees until bottling.
