Lothar Schwörer runs a 10.5-hectare estate in Schmieheim, Baden, focusing on Burgundy varieties like Auxerrois and Spätburgunder, with Riesling as a personal passion. The winery combines conventional and biodynamic methods, emphasizing natural soil fertility and strict yield limits of 30–40 hl/ha. Hand-harvested grapes are processed gently. The estate produces still wines, Crémant sparkling wines, and a Muskateller. Recognized by Gault & Millau and Der Feinschmecker, the winery also won the Deutscher Sektpreis 2018 for its Pinot Rosé Crémant Brut.
