Since 1297, wine has been produced at Burg Schaubeck in Steinheim-Kleinbottwar. The estate, run by Nadja and Felix Adelmann, grows grapes on Keuper soils in Württemberg. It makes a range of still wines, sparkling wines, and brandies. The winery is certified organic (DE-ÖKO-003). In 2018 its label design won a Red Dot Design Award, followed by a German Brand Award.
