In Freiburg-St. Georgen, the Faber family runs a winery that produces wines and spirits. The vineyards lie on the sunny Schönberg hill, at the gateway to the Markgräflerland. Sebastian Faber, along with Marion, Martin and Uschi Faber, manages the estate. The winery grows Grauburgunder, Weissburgunder, Chardonnay, Muskateller, Gutedel, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Dorsa. Newer additions include the PIWI varieties Muscaris and Souvignier Gris, plus a non-alcoholic PIWI Cuvée. All wines are bottled and sold directly from the estate's Vinothek or through an online shop. The winery also offers guest rooms and a distillery for fruit brandies.
