Taifun

Founded in 1987, Taifun produces organic tofu specialties in Freiburg, Germany. The company sources its soybeans from contract farming and operates its own production facility. In 2023, it began building a new tofu plant and a large silo complex for storing organic soybeans on site, financed partly through crowdfunding. Taifun offers a range of tofu products including natural, smoked, marinated, and fermented varieties, as well as tofu sausages, cutlets, and terrines. The company sells through organic shops, health food stores, and supermarkets across Germany.
