In the fourth generation, the Wachtstetter family runs a winery in Pfaffenhofen, Württemberg. Their vineyards cover sites classified as VDP.Grosse Lage and VDP.Erste Lage. The portfolio includes reds from Lemberger, Spätburgunder, Trollinger and Cabernet Franc, whites from Riesling, Weissburgunder, Chardonnay and Grauburgunder, plus rosés and sparkling Secco. Wines have received scores of 94 points from Eichelmann and 91 from Gault&Millau. The winery also operates a distillery and a seasonal snack bar called Wengerthäusle.
