Weingut Iselin

Sara and Rainer Iselin have been running their winery in the Murgtal region for 35 years, based in the Altes Rathaus in Gernsbach. Their vineyards on the Staufenberger Grossenberg sit at 300 meters elevation, with red sandstone soils and wide trellising that creates a unique microclimate. They practice organic viticulture, avoiding synthetic herbicides and insecticides. The winery produces Riesling, Grauburgunder, Blauer Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) in rosé and red, a Riesling Perlwein (sparkling wine), and destillates including Black Forest Gin and vodka. They also offer organic wine vinegars: drinking vinegars and seasoning vinegars. Tastings are held in the Kreuzgewölbekeller vaulted cellar.
