Founded in 1921, the Scheibel family distillery in Kappelrodeck, Black Forest, produces premium fruit spirits and whiskies. The company runs two sites: the Gold-Destille for fruit brandies and the Scheibel Whisky Mühle, where single malt whisky has been made since 2014. Traditional copper pot distillation and at least three years of barrel aging define their approach. Product lines include Alte Zeit, Edles Fass, Premium, PremiumPlus, Woodka, and Emil Single Malt Whisky. Limited editions like Goldstück Wild-Vogelbeer-Brand appear regularly. The distillery also offers tastings, a shop, and online sales.
