Hex vom Dasenstein

Founded in 1938, the winery is a cooperative of over 70 winegrowing families in Kappelrodeck, Ortenau. They cultivate 190 hectares of vineyards on granite soils, focusing on Burgundy varieties like Spätburgunder and Grauburgunder. Their premium line 'Großes Gewächs' comes from single vineyard sites such as Hundberg and Kappelberg. The winery produces wines, sekt, and spirits, and has received recognition from GaultMillau. They operate two vinotheks in Oberkirch and Kappelrodeck.
