Founded in 1938 by Wilhelmine Gmeiner in Appenweier, this family-run confectionery produces handmade chocolate products, pastries, cakes, and macarons. Using regional ingredients and traditional recipes without preservatives or artificial flavors, the company operates multiple cafés and shops across southern Germany. It has been recognized by Der Feinschmecker and Gambero Rosso as one of the best chocolate specialists in Germany and Europe.
