Brennerei Noppel

Founded in 1994 by Hans Noppel in Kayh near Herrenberg, this distillery started as a way to process an oversupply of plums. Today, Christoph Noppel runs the operation, focusing on fruit spirits made from orchard fruits grown on their own meadows. They produce single-variety brandies, liqueurs, seccos, and barrel-aged specialties. The distillery offers tours and open distillation events. Their motto: only fruit good enough to eat goes into the mash.
