Zwiebel

Founded in 1828, Zwiebel has been manufacturing precision weights and masses for nearly two centuries. The company is based in Saint-Jean-Saverne, Alsace, and employs between 50 and 249 people. It holds ISO 9001 certification for its manufacturing processes and its calibration laboratory is accredited under ISO 17025 by COFRAC. Zwiebel produces weights from 0.05 mg up to 2 tonnes, covering accuracy classes E1 through M3. Clients include the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM) and numerous national metrology institutes. The company also offers calibration, reconditioning, and custom weight sets, as well as calibration of micropipettes.
