Founded in 2005 when the Manke brothers took over, ystral has grown from 10 to 48 million euros in turnover and from 80 to 270 employees by 2024. Based in Ballrechten-Dottingen near the French and Swiss borders, the company designs and builds mixing, dispersing and powder wetting machines and complete process plants. Its technologies cover emulsifying, homogenizing and mixing-dispersing for industries such as chemicals, paints, food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and battery production. Ystral also operates subsidiaries in Singapore, India and China.
