Wilhelm Rieber Tourbillons

Based in Tiefenbronn, Wilhelm Rieber carries on a 220-year family watchmaking tradition. He is the only watchmaker in the world today who handcrafts flying pocket tourbillons with a chronometer escapement and spring. His workshop produces wristwatches and pocket watches featuring the flying tourbillon, a mechanism invented by Abraham-Louis Breguet and refined by Alfred Helwig. Each piece is a unique, hand-built work. Rieber also restores and repairs antique mechanical watches for museums and private collectors, and serves as the personal watchmaker for the Philipp-Matthäus-Hahn-Museum in Albstadt.
