Weingut Vogel

Siegfried and Petra Vogel run this family winery in Vogtsburg-Oberbergen, at the heart of the Kaiserstuhl volcanic region. The estate covers about six hectares of vineyards and orchards, all tended by hand. Grapes are selectively harvested and vinified without fining agents, so every wine is vegan. The range includes still wines from sites such as Oberbergener Baßgeige and Schelinger Kirchberg, plus sparkling Sekt, fruit spirits, and a non-alcoholic grape-and-blackcurrant drink called Tribilisaft. The winery also operates a seasonal Straußwirtschaft (tavern) and rents holiday apartments.
