Since 1715, the Ulmann family has been growing wine in Staufen im Breisgau, in the Markgräflerland region. Their ancestors came from Savoy and started winegrowing alongside trading. The estate works with traditional grape varieties such as Gutedel and Riesling, sourcing from top sites like the Staufener Schlossberg. They produce still wines and sparkling wine (Sekt). The winery is open for visits and sells directly to customers.
