Weingut Engler

Founded in 1892 when Max Engler-Rieggerdt acquired the estate, this family winery is now in its fourth generation under Andrea Engler-Waibel. Located in Müllheim im Markgräflerland, the estate produces wines and sparkling wines (Winzersekte) from grapes grown in the foothills of the southern Black Forest. The winery is especially known for Gutedel, a grape variety almost exclusively cultivated in this region. The wines are bottled on site and sold directly through the estate's vinothek. The current vineyard area was expanded and modernized from 1964 onward, and the business shifted entirely to bottled wine sales.
