Based in Bad Waldsee, Baden-Württemberg, this family-owned company has been building tow tractors since 1995, when it became the first European manufacturer to adopt AC drive as standard. Today its product line covers electric, diesel, hybrid and LPG-powered tractors for towing loads from 0.3 to 150 tonnes. The company also builds platform trucks with payloads up to 5 tonnes, often fitted with cranes from Palfinger, Atlas or Hiab. VOLK supplies airports, industrial plants and logistics centres worldwide, and has tested autonomous baggage tractors at Stuttgart Airport. Its quality system is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
