VK Metallbau

Founded in 2002 when Jürgen Kling and Wolfgang Völker took over a metalworking business, VK Metallbau GmbH is based in Hockenheim. The company manufactures aluminium windows, doors, and facade systems for residential and commercial projects. It also supplies smoke and fire protection doors and automatic sliding doors. In 2020 Florian Sauer and Matthias Hornek acquired the firm; Sauer became sole managing director in 2023. The workshop is equipped with modern machinery and employs around ten people. Clients include housing cooperatives, property developers, and large retail chains such as Edeka.
