Stepper

Founded in 1965, Stepper in Pforzheim builds high-performance stamping tools and produces precision stamped parts. The company operates its own stamping shop with a modern machine park, mainly Bruderer presses, covering everything from prototypes to large series. Stepper developed the world's first modular stamping tool system in 1975 and introduced CAD in toolmaking early on. Their PROTO system delivers series-like prototype parts, MODULAR 1 offers flexibility for small to medium runs, and F1 Supertec targets high-volume production above 10 million units. Stamped parts include micro-stamped components, stamped grids, and precision contacts for automotive, plastics, electrical, and medical industries. The company was named Toolmaker of the Year in 2019 and 2022 by Fraunhofer IPT.
