Jürgen Steck runs a traditional wheelwright and woodworking shop in Langenau, Baden-Württemberg. The workshop dates back to around 1900 and was originally used as a turning and wheelwright business. Steck learned the trade and became national champion in the German craft competition for young artisans. All wood comes from within 30 km of Langenau. The company builds custom wheels, ladders, tool handles, vehicles, garden tools, household items, and tables and benches. Notable projects include a brewery wagon, a shepherd's cart, and cannon wheels for a historic gun on the Überlingen lakeside promenade.
