Sägewerk Frey

Since several generations, the Frey family has been running a sawmill and planing mill in Unterwaldach, in the district of Freudenstadt. The company processes local spruce, fir and Douglas fir logs into structural timber, planed goods and semi-finished products for the woodworking industry and trade. Their product range includes sawn timber such as construction timber, square timber, planks, cross frames, laths and boards, as well as planed goods like smooth-edged boards, planed frames, tongue-and-groove boards and rough boards. They are a member of the MH® Massivholz association and offer the MH® product lines plus, fix and natur. Additional services include contract sawing, contract drying and impregnation. The company also sells wood chips, sawdust and log-ends. A small, competent team enables fast, order-related production, and a large stock of common assortments is kept on site.
