Obernauer Löwen-Sprudel

Since 1895, the Geiger family has been bottling mineral water, healing water, lemonades and fruit spritzers at the Löwen-Sprudel springs in Obernau, Rottenburg am Neckar. The water emerges from Upper Muschelkalk rock formations, giving it over 3000 mg of minerals per liter, with 680 mg of calcium – the highest level in Baden-Württemberg. The company operates its own sources and fills exclusively into returnable glass bottles. Robert Geiger, a trained water sommelier, represents the sixth generation. The range includes sparkling, medium and still natural mineral waters, two officially recognized healing waters (Naturquell Heilfüllung and Schloßgarten Quelle), and lemonades such as Zitro and Gold.
