NIDEC MOTORS & ACTUATORS (GERMANY)

Founded in 1923 as Spezial Werkzeugfabrik Feuerbach (SWF), the company became part of Japan's Nidec Corporation in 2007. It develops and produces electric and mechatronic components for the automotive market, from small actuator drives at 10W up to traction motors at 150kW. The product portfolio covers body/comfort, braking/steering, drivetrain, thermal management, and traction applications. Industrial drives are also offered, built in highly automated facilities. The management system is certified to IATF 16949:2016. Five sites across four continents support global delivery.
