Founded in 1995 in Stuttgart, MicroCentric GmbH started as the European sales office for MicroCentric Corp. of the USA. The company moved to Ditzingen in 2006 and later to Gerlingen, where it now manufactures precision workholding equipment. Its product range includes pneumatic chucks, diaphragm chucks, collet chucks, high-speed chucks, and special clamping devices. The company uses SolidWorks for design and operates turning, milling, and grinding machines in-house. Customers come from machine building, automotive, and supplier industries.
