Founded in 1961, Metallwarenfabrik Gemmingen GmbH operates two plants producing components for electrical machinery, generators, and power generation systems. The company started with stamping and die-cast parts for the electrical industry and soon expanded to full IEC standard motor series. Today it manufactures aluminum die-cast parts weighing 0.1 to 6.0 kg, precision electrical laminations, and stator and rotor packages up to 280 mm diameter. Its GEKO and EISEMANN brands supply generators and emergency power solutions for construction, industry, home, garden, camping, agriculture, and disaster relief per DIN 14685. The company employs about 200 people across sites in Germany and Hungary, with 17 die-casting machines (300–900 t clamping force) and 4 high-speed stamping presses (110–250 t).
