Founded in 1920, the family business Merzdorf Cembalobau is now run by master harpsichord maker Susanne Merzdorf, the third generation. In their workshop in Remchingen, they handcraft harpsichords, spinets, clavichords, and fortepianos. Since the 1970s, historical instruments have served as models for construction. The company also offers repairs, restorations, instrument rental, and concert services.
