Founded over 50 years ago, MERZ GmbH in Gaildorf is a manufacturer of mobile power distributors, sheet metal parts, and testing equipment. The company operates as part of the Austrian PCE Group, which employs around 900 people worldwide. MERZ supplies construction firms, event technicians, and municipalities with sturdy distribution systems. Its sheet metal division offers CNC punching, laser cutting, and bending services, and produces custom transport boxes under the MERZBOX brand. The company also manufactures switchgear through its subsidiary MERZ Schaltgeräte GmbH + Co. KG. MERZ HOME produces metal enclosures for waste bins and balconies.
