Mecanob

Founded in 1977 by Pierre Zimpfer in Kaltenhouse, Mecanob moved to Oberhoffen-sur-Moder in 1981 and now employs 10 people across a 1530 m² production floor. The company manufactures precision mechanical parts on CNC lathes and machining centers that combine milling, drilling, and tapping in all materials. They also produce emergency repair parts where quick turnaround is essential. Their equipment includes 2- to 10-axis turning centers, 3- and 4-axis machining centers, automatic sawing up to 400 mm diameter, and traditional lathes. Quality control uses a measuring column, CMM, contourgraph, profile projector, and roughness testers. The workshop also offers assembly, tribofinishing, industrial washing, marking, engraving, and packaging.
