LITEF

Founded in 1961 and based in Freiburg, Germany, LITEF develops and produces high-precision inertial sensors and navigation systems for land, sea, air, and industrial applications. The company supplies inertial measurement units (IMUs), attitude and heading reference systems (AHRS), and custom navigation solutions for military and civil platforms, including the Eurofighter Typhoon and Tornado. LITEF operates its own MEMS and fiber-optic gyroscope (FOG) production facilities and holds ISO 9001 certification. The company is a subsidiary of Northrop Grumman.
