Liebherr-Hydraulikbagger

Founded in 1949 by Hans Liebherr in Kirchdorf an der Iller, the site is the birthplace of the Liebherr Group. Today, Liebherr-Hydraulikbagger GmbH develops and builds hydraulic excavators, material handling machines and articulated dump trucks. The plant turns out roughly 2,500 machines each year and holds the global lead in wheeled excavators. Its products work in civil engineering, landscaping, scrap yards, ports and waste management. A patented quick-coupling system called Solidlink lets operators swap attachments from inside the cab. The company also makes railroad excavators for rail construction.
