KUK Coils

Founded in 2017, KUK Coils France in Bitschwiller-lès-Thann manufactures custom coils, transformers, and electronic assemblies. The plant is part of the Swiss KUK Group, which has seven production sites worldwide. It serves automotive, industrial, medical, and defense sectors. In 2023 the site obtained EN 9100 certification for aerospace quality management, adding to its IATF 16949 automotive certification. The company builds its own automated winding lines in-house, enabling it to produce air-core coils, toroidal coils, high- and low-frequency transformers, and complete PCB assemblies (SMD and THT). Fine wire down to 0.010 mm is used. Orthocyclic and edge-winding techniques are available. The facility also offers potting, insert molding, and full module assembly.
