Kraus Maschinenbau Umwelttechnik

Founded in 1908 as a blacksmith shop by Johann Kraus in Ühlingen, the company evolved into a mechanical workshop under Ludwig Kraus in 1939. Karl Kraus took over in 1971 and shifted focus to wastewater technology, building the first screen in 1976. Today, Oliver Kraus runs the fourth-generation family business. Kraus manufactures mechanical wastewater treatment systems, including screens, screen compactors, and storm tank equipment. They also build solar sludge drying plants and low-temperature dryers. Their products are used in over 25 countries. All machines are designed, constructed, and assembled in-house at their Ühlingen facility.
