Founded in 1975 by Helmut Kniel, the company develops and builds power supplies in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg. Its product range covers 19-inch systems, DIN-rail and wall-mount units, tabletop devices, and auxiliary components like mains switching cards and voltage monitoring cards. The portfolio includes over 10,000 standard types with outputs from 7 to 3000 watts. Kniel also offers customer-specific solutions and services such as repairs, calibration, and technical support. The company employs more than 90 people and holds ISO 9001 certification.
