KELLERHOLZ

Founded in 2004 when Jörg Keller took over, this industrial sawmill in Lichtenau, Baden-Württemberg, processes over 120,000 cubic metres of roundwood per year. It produces sawn timber for pallets and packaging, offering both standardised cuts and custom dimensions. The company sources logs from the Black Forest, Palatinate Forest, Rhine Valley, Alsace and Vosges, keeping transport routes short. A 3D measuring system optimises each log for maximum yield. The sawline has 17 axes and over 70 saw blades, which are sharpened daily in the on-site grinding shop. Kellerholz supplies business customers only and exports to France, Benelux, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Serbia, Luxembourg, Israel, the USA, China and Japan.
