Founded in 1961 by Franz Karger as a one-man mechanical workshop, the company has grown into a modern industrial operation with around 230 employees. Run by the founder's sons Wolfgang and Uli Karger, it operates four sites in southern Germany and one in Austria. Core activities are hot-dip galvanizing and production of custom grating. Since 2024, powder coating has been added through the acquisition of MEGA Pulverbeschichtungen GmbH, enabling duplex coatings with sandblasting. The company serves industrial clients requiring corrosion protection for steel components.
