Holz Schmid

Founded over 60 years ago in Sauldorf-Boll, Baden-Württemberg, the family-run company processes local round timber into sawn timber, industrial packaging, pallets, and noise protection walls. Around 38 employees produce custom crates, transport brackets, and special packaging for heavy goods. The sawmill handles logs up to 65 cm diameter and 14.5 m length. Products include construction timber, planed goods, and profile boards in spruce, fir, larch, and beech. The company holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, HPE certification for heavy-load packaging, and IPPC/ISPM-15 compliance for export packaging. Just-in-time and just-in-sequence deliveries are standard.
