Hochdorfer Kronenbrauerei

Brewing since the 11th and 12th generation, this family-run brewery in Nagold-Hochdorf produces beers and lemonades under the Hochdorfer and Libella brands. Its Kronenbräu Helles was named Germany's best Helles by the DLG in 2025, and the Hopfenleicht won a Silver Award at the European Beer Star 2025. The brewery follows Slow Brewing principles and has been CO2-neutral since 2006, using wood chips from local forests for heat and offsetting remaining emissions. Raw materials come from the region via the RegioKorn initiative, with hops partly grown on site.
