Himmelsbach

Founded in 1894 by Bernhard Himmelsbach as Badische Holzwarenfabrik in Bombach, the company originally produced wooden ladders, garden swings, and folding furniture. Since 1932 it has been based in Kenzingen. Today Himmelsbach manufactures ladders and scaffolding from wood, aluminium, and combinations, offering over 1,000 models including stepladders, extension ladders, orchard ladders, roof ladders, and mobile scaffolding. The company holds ISO 9001:2008 certification and its products are tested to EN 131 and EN 1004 standards. Exports go mainly to France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, and Switzerland. The managing directors are Helmut Kaiser, Andreas Luem, and Volker Hauff.
