Founded in 1913, this family-run firm in Ostfildern makes precision measuring instruments from hardened spring steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics. Its product range includes steel rules, tape measures, shrink and wax rules, DIN 866 working rules, circumference measuring tapes, verniers, zero marks, circular scales, callipers and micrometers. The company uses deep engraving, tempering and cutting lasers to produce abrasion-resistant, chemical-resistant markings. It also manufactures custom prototypes, small batches and bespoke measuring devices for sectors such as ropeway engineering. In 2025 it launched a warpage measuring rail for checking flatness of plates made of any material.
