Founded in 1920, this family-run sawmill and timber business operates from Bermatingen-Ahausen on Lake Constance. It processes around 6,000 cubic metres of German and American hardwood annually into sawn timber, floorboards, terrace decking, table tops, veneers and parquet. The company holds FSC and PEFC chain-of-custody certifications and is a member of the 'Holz von Hier' initiative, ensuring all wood comes from sustainable forestry. A horizontal band saw and a traditional frame saw handle the cutting, while three computer-controlled kilns allow precise moisture adjustment.
