Founded in 1948 in Wellendingen, Baden-Württemberg, GUK is a family-run manufacturer of paper folding machines and precision turned parts. The company produces machines for print finishing—used by printers, binderies, and lettershops—as well as folding apparatus for pharmaceutical package inserts. Over 70,000 folding machines have been sold worldwide. GUK also operates a precision turning division producing parts from 10 to 10 million units. The fourth generation now leads the business. Export share exceeds 65%.
