Galva Hild

Founded in 1952 by Albert Hild, a tinsmith who started making zinc products for post-war reconstruction. The company operates two hot-dip galvanizing baths in Jebsheim: a large bath (6.8m x 1.25m x 2.6m) handling pieces up to 13.5m, and a smaller bath (3.8m x 0.8m x 1.5m) with a centrifuge for small welded parts. ISO 9001 certified, it processes over 8,000 tonnes of steel annually. Its own fleet of 2–3 semi-trailers covers 200,000 km per year, delivering to clients in eastern France and Germany. Galva Hild remains one of the last independent galvanizers on the French market.
