Founded in 1867 by Wilhelm Emil Fein, the company invented the world's first electric hand drill. Based in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Baden-Württemberg, it develops and builds power tools and accessories for professional metalworking, construction, and renovation. Its product lines include drills, screwdrivers, grinders, core drilling machines, saws, milling cutters, oscillating multi-tools, and wet/dry vacuum cleaners. The brand is part of the AMPShare multi-brand battery system, allowing cross-compatibility with Bosch Professional 18V batteries.
