Familie Halter

In the village of Ödsbach/Oberkirch in the Ortenau region, the Halter family produces fruit brandies and liqueurs. Master distiller Johannes Halter handcrafts each batch using local fruit. The distillery has earned numerous awards, including five honorary prizes and twelve gold medals at the Baden Best Spirits competition. Their product lines include the premium 'Die Besten' series, limited to 20–30 bottles per batch, each signed and numbered. They also offer the '1789er' line with gin, vermouth, absinthe, and vodka, as well as classic fruit brandies from over 30 fruit varieties, and liqueurs made from hand-picked regional fruit.
