Since 1923, Empacher has built racing rowing boats in Germany. The yard produces single sculls, doubles, fours, and eights, plus oars and sculls. Boats are made from carbon, Kevlar, and Nomex honeycomb using vacuum sandwich construction with epoxy resin. Empacher is an official supplier to World Rowing and partners with the German and Swiss rowing associations. The company also offers recreational and adaptive boats, a spare parts shop, and a repair service.
